The PTLLS course is an introduction for those
who wish to train or teach.
This qualification will provide trainers, facilitators and teachers the
abilities to support learners. To undertake the course you are not
required to hold any specific prior teaching qualifications. However,
you must be
qualified in the subject you aim to teach, by holding an appropriate
professional qualification (Level 3 minimum) or by being employed in
training or teaching role.
There are five topics to be covered within the
PTLLS course; they include

Understand your own role

Responsibilities and boundaries of your role in relation to teaching

Demonstrate session planning skill

Understand the use of different assessment method
-
The need for record keeping
Some
of the topics can be quite difficult to understand, so having a study
guide to
follow will help you. You can choose to do this qualification at either
level 3
or 4, usually the level is determined by the assessment criteria or
assignments.
